Furniture Trends will do everything in their power to ensure a smooth delivery of your products and to ensure your products arrive in the time frame you are expecting them to. Unfortunately, some things are out of our control and we cannot always guarantee the same day due to circumstance out of our control. For example: transit delays, pandemic delays, strikes, inclement weather and so on.

We are happy to offer Express shipping to the following areas: Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Caledon, Concord, Cambridge Mississauga, Brampton, Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Grimsby, St.Catherines, Niagara-Fall, Malton, Georgetown, Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle, Port Perry, Lindsay, Peterborough, Cobourg, Belleville, Trenton, Orangeville, Newmarket, Aurora, Innisfil, Barrie, and Acton. Rural delivery locations (i.e. outside of urban cities and towns) may incur extra shipping costs due to extra travel time. We do not currently ship to P.O. Boxes at this time, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If for any reason you need to change the delivery address after your order is placed, please contact our customer support team via email within 24 hours of placing the order or before the order has been dispatched. Unfortunately, after the order is shipped from our warehouse, there will be a re-routing fee in order to change the location. Please double check that your address is correct before placing the order to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Delivery on an in-stock product tothe GTA is between 2 and 5 business days, with order processing times between 1 and 3 business days. Delivery of an in-stock item outside the GTA will take between 5 and 7 business days, with order processing times between 2 and 4 business days. Rural delivery may require extra time for delivery.Ashley products and any custom-made products can take between 3 to 5 weeks to deliver.

We schedule our deliveries from Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST. One of our delivery agents will contact you to discuss a time that works for you. We do require the signature of a person 18 years or older on all of our delivery orders to ensure property delivery of your item(s).

Packages distributed via Frontier,Can-par, Purolator, FedEx, and UPS do not necessitate delivery arrangements. For any reason there is no one available to accept the shipment, a delivery attempt notice with further particulars will be issued. This can cause delays and we are not responsible for any inconveniences that this may cause.

Furniture Trends offers curbside distribution; the shipper will not enter inside a residences home. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to arrange to move the items inside buildings and place the items where you want them. We are unable to navigate stairs with our standard delivery equipment. If your building or the front door of your house is only accessible via stairs we will get as close as possible or, alternatively, deliver to your garage.

If you prefer to have our delivery crew deliver inside your home, please contact our service team as this will require upgraded shipping costs. Superior delivery services are also available for a supplementary fee. It is important to always check your products over to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. Please do not accept the delivery if it arrives damaged as it must be returned to the shipper. The customer must notify Furniture Trends of damage within 48 hours of receiving the products.

In these occurrences, Furniture Trends will inform the third-party shipping company concerning the damage. A third-party shipping company will examine the shipment of the individual’s products through their claims department. The client will be accountable for warehousing the product(s) at the address where the items were distributed, until the third-party shipping company’s examination through their claims division is complete. Unfortunately, all refunds to the client will be on hold until the claims process is finished.

PICK-UP

When picking up your package, please bring a sales receipt and valid photo identification card in order to pick up the right products. We will take an imprint of your credit card and photo identification before providing you with your items. The cardholder’s signature will be required before we releasethe items which were purchased.

Some merchandise will be packaged in cartons and will require assembly. Unfortunately, we are not able to assemble or unpack cartons for you at our distribution facility. Please be aware of your product sizes and come prepared with an appropriately sized vehicle to move your goods. Tactlessly, we are not responsible for any damages that occurred in transit and they are not covered under our warranty. There will be no returns on damaged merchandise that happened from the individual who picked it up from the warehouse.

All prices on our website are shown in Canadian Dollars $ unless otherwise stated.

REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

When purchasing an item at Furniture Trends, all sales are final and there will be no refunds or exchanged. If for any reason you have received a damaged item that was delivered to you or you received an incorrect item, please contact us immediately or within 48 hours to sort out a new delivery/pick-up of items.

We will accept cancelled orders for a full refund, ONLY if they have not left our warehouse, which usually happens within 24 hours. If you cancel your order after the product has left our warehouse, we will deduct the shipping and return shipping charges.

Please remember that custom orders and extra service fees paid are non-refundable. This includes fees paid for delivery and assembly services.Any item marked as Final Sale at the time of the transaction is not covered by our exchange policy.

In order to protect our customers and ourselves we do not sell to minors. If you are under the legal age in your province, please ask a parent or legal guardian to complete the purchase for you in order to receive the goods. Furniture Trends does not take responsibility for lost, incomplete, illegal, late, stolen or misdirected message, failed connections, software or hardware problems, or any other technical malfunction that might occur.

Furniture Trends undertakes no accountability, and will not be liable for any impairments to, or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing on the websites or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video or audio from the websites.

COLOUR OF PRODUCTS

Furniture trends tries to represent the best colour possible for each one of their products, however, with the differences in technology, it is hard to get the exact colour on everyone’s monitors and computers. We make every effort to ensure that the colour you ordered is the colour of product you will receive, although we cannot guarantee that your device will show the accurate colour of our products.

SOFTWARE AGREEMENTS

When purchasing a product from Furniture Trends, you may be required to download software that has been made available to you from our Website or through other Websites and Internet resources. Our software is protected by copyright, downloading and use of the software is governed by the applicable Transaction Agreement and the Software License Agreement specific to the software. By downloading software, you are agreeing and accepting the applicable Transaction Agreement and Software License Agreement.

 

FURNITURE TRENDS PRICE MATCH POLICY / PRICE PROTECTION POLICY

Furniture Trends is happy to price match under one stipulation: we will price match any authorized local Canadian dealer’s advertised price of the same brand, make, and model of a product, provided that such product is being sold in new, factory-sealed condition (subject to manufacturer’s applicable warranty within Canada), and is sold under the same terms and conditions that Furniture Trends’ is being sold. Any conditional offers, exclusions and/or restrictions regarding limited quantity eligible for purchase will not be applied.

In order to qualify for a price match, the authorized ‘local’ Canadian dealer must be located in the same municipality and must have this particular item in stock at the time of sale. Unfortunately, this offer does not apply to black Friday deals, cyber Monday, or boxing week specials as our products are marked down to their lowest price possible.

Price Match at Furniture Trends does not apply to typographical or advertising errors, misprints, restricted offers, mail order offers, mail-in rebates, time sensitive offers, limited or minimum quantity orders, service packages, rain checks, bundled items, manufacturers’ offers, liquidations, on-line only offers, clearances or close-outs.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All sales at Furniture Trends are final. although, if you discover hidden damage, and report such damage within three days of delivery or pick-up of products that you have obtained, we may offer you a reimbursement, at our preference.

If a refund has been authorized, please note the following: all refunds will be handled and mailed to you (as per billing address on invoice) within 10 to 15 business days from the date of cancellation.
